1. What do you charge for full grooming?

Our services are based on many factors. Breed, size, coat condition, haircut, and the length between grooms determine a price. Pricing is also based on the time it takes to groom. We can provide a quote for grooming when you book your appointment.

 

2. How far in advance should I schedule an appointment?

We recommend planning about a week or two out for appointment availability. Some appointment times and days will book faster, so the sooner, the better, to make sure we get you on the schedule.

 

3. Do you have any breed or size restrictions?

We groom and can accommodate all breeds and sizes of dogs at our Olmsted Falls and Medina locations and cats at our Brunswick location.

 

4. How often should my pet be groomed?

We recommend grooming your pet every 4-6 weeks to ensure their coat stays healthy, free of mats, and to maintain their overall comfort and hygiene.

 

5. How long will my appointment take?

Due to the nature of working on living beings, we can not guarantee any time. But we offer some general timing depending on the pet’s size.

  • Small dogs: 2 - 2.5 hours

  • Medium dogs: 2.5 - 3 hours

  • Large and Doodle type coats: 3 - 4 hours

  • Xl and XXL breeds: 4 - 5 hours

These are the times we recommend to plan on the appointment to take. We can often do them in a shorter amount of time, but too many variables can happen to guarantee that shorter time. Please let us know if there may be scheduling conflicts when booking so we can schedule appropriately.

6. Are anal glands and/or ear plucking included in the grooming?

Awesome Paws Pet Salon requires written veterinarian consent to perform these services. Through our continued education, we have learned that these procedures can possibly cause more harm than good. We believe in a holistic approach to your pet’s care and would like to work in conjunction with your veterinarian to provide the best service possible.

7. Do you allow tipping?

Tipping is never required but always appreciated. You can tip in cash or credit card.
